JENA takes its influence from the Bauhaus movement and forms a stunning door detail, in pairs, with or without a lockset.

JENA is designed to work with a 60mm backset lock/latch, so that it sits flush to the edge of the door. Please let us know if you would like the backplate cutting back to avoid catching on the door frame (see DOWNLOAD PRODUCT DIMENSIONS).

Alternatively you can simply rebate into the door frame externally if you prefer.

The handles are unsprung and are designed to be used with sprung latches.

All Philip Watts Design products are handmade in Nottingham, England. As the sand-casting process is not an exact science, these dimensions are provided as a guide only and we strongly recommend that doors are marked out and drilled to the physical handle.

All handles are made to order with a lead time of approximately 4-6 weeks.

About the designer

At the tail end of the early nineties recession in the UK, and shortly after graduating from Nottingham University, Philip set up a small workshop and started to create unique, sculptural, cast metal candlestick holders and sold them into local furniture stores.
Since then, he has designed over 700 products, handmade from the purest forms of brass, bronze and aluminium.
